With marijuana increasingly finding its way into many different types of food, Nutella is the latest delicacy to get infused with the popular psychedelic, thanks to those progressive and innovative Canadians.
As if free healthcare and soon free education weren’t a boon enough, citizens of The Great White North get to enjoy the heavenly taste of the ‘Chrontella’, a glorious combination of weed and sweet chocolaty spread.
Essentially a jar full of chocolate and hazelnut spread with 300mg of cannabis extract mixed with it, the unique treat is absolute genius and might prove more addicting than pure cannabis. A small jar costs around $23 (£15.89).
We wouldn’t recommend eating the entire jar in just one sitting, though, because all you really need to achieve a comfortable buzz is 10 to 30 milligrams. Spare yourself the diabetes…
Jamie Carlton, manager of Canadian Qualimeds dispensary, told Vice News:
“It’s taken the cannabis community by storm. It’s not just a cookie. Now I can medicate with my morning toast.”
The company behind this ground-breaking creation also makes weed-infused peanut butter (Pif) and Smokers strawberry jam.
