Nature’s wrath can be both destructive and breathtaking and the Chile volcano eruption of 2015 was destructively breathtaking.
Calbuco, the volcano in question, looks over Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas, two port cities with a combined population of over 250,000 people. Its eruption was out of this world and overwhelmed emergency services in Chile, with Argentinian authorities even warning their citizens about the fallout of ash and other debris.
