Dad Arrested for Putting Porn on Store iPad

A dad in Britain was arrested for putting a scene from very hardcore porn movie as the wallpaper of a Tesco iPad.

While shopping with his son at the retail store, 40-year-old Ceri Morgan set the background image for amusement but panicked when he couldn’t delete it. He was approached by store staff after a CCTV operator zoomed in on his antic.

Morgan was arrested and went to court not long after. His lawyer had the following to say:

He was looking at the iPad section and on the spur of the moment made a somewhat foolish and immature decision to take pornographic pictures from his phone and upload it as background.

It was intended as a joke, but unfortunately it back-fired spectacularly. He had some difficulty in removing it from the background and there was an element of panic.

His punishment? 12 months of community service and a fine of £130 (around $197). Is that too harsh?
