Cars are like humans in many ways. They have different looks, different personalities and even different sexes. When it comes to being manly, few beat pickup trucks. And when it comes to manly trucks, few are as recognizable as RAM. At the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, the American automaker unveiled a truck even manlier than its usual — the Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition!
Manly men are always doing something productive. If youre the outdoorsy type — for instance, you like hunting but don’t want your prey to see you approaching them in your big hauler of a vehicle — this truck has your name written all over it. Implied by its name, the vehicle is the brainchild of both Ram and another manly American brand, Mossy Oak, a camouflage and outdoor lifestyle company.
The exterior is covered in Mossy Oak Break-Up Infinity camouflage pattern and features optional Break-Up Infinity-patterned lower cladding, while the interior sports Mossy Oak Break-Up Infinity touches on the instrument panel and door panel inserts, as well as Mossy Oak logo embroidered on the headrests. An Espresso Tuscany-colored Katzkin leather seats with Mossy Oak seatback embroidery is optional.
Based on the standard Ram Outdoorsman, the Ram Mossy Oak Edition is available exclusively in a 4×4 Crew Cab configuration. It has a starting price of $39,985 (plus a $1,195 destination charge), making it relatively affordable.
