But you can’t drive it…
The Porsche 911 has been the dream car of many many for decades, but a six-figure price tag means that only a handful of wealthy individuals have the liberty of buying one new. Well, Porsche has responded to your tearful prayers and shrunk the price of the 911 R to a manageable level, but, in so doing, also shrunk the car and made it out of paper.
Yup, you can have the track-focused 911 for the bargain basement price of just $58 US (49.90 euros), but in the form of a 3D puzzle.
The model in question is a unique, 1:18 scale Porsche 911 R 3D puzzle co-developed by Porsche and Toy manufacturer Ravensburger that will make you feel rich just by looking at it. Oliver Eidam, Head of Brand Partnerships and Sponsoring at Porsche, stated:
“We were excited to be involved in such a project, working together with our partner Ravensburger to recreate one of our iconic sports cars–no other than the 911 R–in the form of a 3D puzzle.”
It takes 108 pieces to assemble this 3D puzzle Porsche 911, which is kids play when considering it takes 2,704 pieces and 6 hours it takes to put together Lego’s Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
Ravensburger’s Porsche 911 R 3D puzzle can be ordered from the Porsche Online Shop, the Porsche Museum in Leipzig, and Ravensburger’s very own Online Shop, as well as at various toy shops.
Great deal for a brand-new Porsche, right? What, you think you’re too good for it?
