Nintendo has finally revealed its gaming system and it’s called the Nintendo Switch. It launches in March 2017.
The Switch is as peculiar as it is innovative because it’s a complete fusion of a TV-connected home console and a handheld. More specifically, it consists of a handheld system, a gaming tablet and a dockable console that work seamlessly together.
You can set it up as traditionally as a PS4 or Xbox One or take it on the go like you would a 3DS. The announcement trailer says it all …
The Nintendo Switch seems very focused on multiplayer gaming, especially with others in the same room or close proximity. It also appears to be less of kids-oriented system than the Wii, Wii U and 3DS, with Nintendo apparently gesturing at millennial gamers.
I have to admit, it’s neat device, but is it everything you wanted in a gaming system? Are you excited and will you get it? Let us know in the comments section below.
