Woman Copyrights Her Boobs And Vijay To Fight Revenge Porn

Fight against Revenge Porn

A woman in the United States has decided to fight against revenge porn by copyrighting her boobs and vagina after her ex-boyfriend published over 100 intimate photos and videos of her online.

Revenge porn has become a pandemic in North America, and many women are getting caught with their pants down, figuratively and literally.

‘Hillary’ (the moniker the woman in question goes by to protect herself) and her then-boyfriend sent each other nude selfies and videos during a long distance relationship that apparently ended badly. You can’t blame her for taking such desperate measures to have the material removed from the internet.

In an interview with CNN, she said:

“(My ex) continually asked (me) to send photos, and it was uncomfortable at first. But I figured, ‘You’re in love so why not?’ They were very intimate.

There were a lot of topless photos, a lot in bed, I guess simulating sexual acts.”

Hillary sought legal advice after discovering the images and videos had been posted online, but unfortunately, revenge porn is only illegal in 17 U.S states, of which her home state isn’t one.

She first tried copyrighting the photos themselves, but they needed to be approved by the government, something she initially disagreed with for obvious reasons, even though the U.S. Copyright Office assured her that only the person taking care of the process would see the photos. Desperate, she eventually filed three different registrations and managed to get all the images copyrighted and taken down, but not the videos.

Women can be big a-holes, but what Hillary’s ex-boyfriend did was dirty and downright unmanly. We give her credit for fighting back and setting an example for other victims of revenge porn.

Sadly, a lot more work needs to be done to stop the pandemic.
