Wrongfully Convicted Man Eats Burger After 36 Years In Prison

Wrongfully Convicted Man Eats Burger

Imagine a whole 36 years in prison for a crime you didn’t commit. Ask Michael Hanline and he’ll tell you that’s a very long time.

Hanline was wrongfully convicted of murder 36 years ago, and it was only until November 2014 that he walked out of prison as an innocent man. The California Innocence Project put out a video of his release, and it’s touching to say the least.

Looking at him, he is clearly someone who loves his food, so you can’t blame him for craving a decent burger after being out of touch with the real world for so long. If Orange Is the New Black and Oz have thought me anything, it is that prison food is nasty.

Enjoy your burger, Michael Hanline, and enjoy your freedom even more! Stay away from McDonald’s.
