Kermit the Frog was real all this time and had been hiding in the Talamanca Mountains of Costa Rica! Seriously, scientists have found a new species of frog that looks exactly like the dopey Sesame Street Muppet.
The bright green amphibian (Hyalinobatrachium Dianae) lives in a neglected part of the world (neglected by humans, which is a good thing) and its mating call is more of a whistle than the usual frog croak, possibly explaining why it remained hidden for so long.
In fact, its call is so unique that it sounds like no other known species of frog, giving scientists a reason to classify it as its own species.
So, what you think about the real-life Kermit the Frog? Is he cool or creepy?
