The UK Department of Health has released a picture of what ‘plain packaged’ cigarettes will look like if it gets its way.
Shown above, the packets have an olive-green color and new images of smoking-related diseases on the front.
Frankly, it doesn’t look that much different from the packets currently on store shelves, but the Department of Health is likely hoping the duller design will turn off the younger generation from buying packs.
It’s a good effort, but people already addicted to cigarettes care not about what the boxes look like but rather what’s inside them.
Want to stop people from smoking? Make the actual cigarettes look dirty like a used tampon or some other disgusting shit.
